End Of Summer

Wow how time flies!! To end off our summer the kids and I took one last trip to Utah. We had a blast! Both the kids traveled liked champs. When we arrived in Vegas we had an hour and half trip to my parents house in St. George. Half way we stopped for gas and noticed something was leaking from the car. What was supposed to be a quick fill up turned into a 3 hour ordeal. The car was leaking oil. I felt very blessed that we had stopped and noticed the problem in a well lit parking lot and not on the highway. Once the tow truck arrived and Brian ( my sisters hubby) we were back on the road. The next two weeks we spent swimming, golf ball hunting, making rockets and much more. I also was able to be apart of my little sis taking her endowments out. What a wonderful blessing it was to be with her on that day.

This is how we entertained the kids for almost an hour while waiting to be saved. Rocks make great chalk art.

Every night we were in SLC Marques had a bed time song and dance for the kids. Let's just say it wasn't to help them settle down.

Last night in Utah. Enjoying ice cream with  cousins.
Two days after arriving back home we closed on our house and Started moving in. A few days after that Brendon started First Grade at his new school. I am happy to say we all survived the world wind. We love the neighborhood we live in and the school Brendon is attending. The new house has been fabulous. We have plenty of space and room to grow. We are very blessed.

FIRST DAY OF SCHOOL

Brendon works very hard this summer to make save money. He wanted to buy a tablet or go-cart. I am very proud to say he made 103 dollars and some change. I was shocked when the bank told us his total. He is a very good kid and already desires to be successful in life.

Brendon's Fish Blue tank died this summer. That fish made it from Oklahoma to Minnesota. I was surprised he made it though all that. Brendon was sad, but felt better after helping me bury him in the front yard.

middle of summer fun

What a great few weeks we have had! We went to Green bay to pick up  Anthony's younger brother Michael, from his two year church mission in Mexico. The whole family was very excited to be reunited with our Mikey! Also know known as the "Precious." We spent the week with Mikey and the rest of the family. Anthony, Arianna and I headed home. Leaving Brendon behind for another week to spend at Grandma's house. I really enjoyed having one on one time with my Arianna. I was amazed at what a good kid she was the whole week. I truly believe she was meant to be an only child. lol

Picking Up Mikey!!

The first stop we made with mikey was Taco Bell!

You would think she was his child. Exact same pose.

Como Zoo with mommy and daddy.

Brendon earned a lot of money doing chores and having a lemonade stand. He loved the lemonade stand so much. I think he would have stayed out there all day if he didn't have to eat and sleep. Total made $62.00!

Uncle Mikey has made the great decision to come and live with us for a few month to earn some money before school. The kids love having him around. He can't do much without his little minions following behind.

Summer so Far

We have had a great kick off to our summer. My big Kindergartner graduated. He loved being in Kindergarten. Thankfully we got lucky and his teacher Mrs. Wolf Was amazing. She helped make the transition easy.
Arianna had her first dance recital. She loved being apart of it.  Grandma Hoffman came to watch. Grandpa Mills then came to visit. It was a great weekend with him. I even got to witness a miracle! I saw my father change a diaper! Arianna loves him so much she only wanted him to do it. He could not say no to her. I thought the world was going to end. Ha ha!
Brendon started his second season of t-ball. Anthony got asked to be his coach. Brendon loved having his daddy as the coach. It is a lot of fun to watch Brendon play because he loves it so much.
Next was a month full of Birthday celebration. We had a joint party this year with family and friends. On their birthday they enjoyed picking all the meals and opening presents from each other. I tried something I have never attempted to do with their cake. We had a dragon/princess cake. I was not thrilled with how it turned out, but the kids loved it all the same.
This past weekend Anthony had a 10-11 year reunion for his State Legion Baseball Champions. They set up the old team (Anthony's team) to play a game with the current Legion Baseball team. I am proud to say that my hot husband still has it. His team won 8-2. I really enjoyed watching him play and meeting some of the old teammates. Plus it gave us some fun time with Grandpa and Grandma Hoffman and Aunt Lauren. Anthony and I returned home  for a few days and left the kids to have more fun with Anthony's family. Anthony and I will return tomorrow to greet his brother Michael returning home from his mission. We are all excited to see him.
Still lots of fun summer events to come.
