Christmas and New Years in the New House

We made it to Minnesota Safe and sound. The kids could not believe all the snow that was on the ground. When we first ran into the snow in Illinois the kids were very excited and kept asking if we could get out of the car to go play in it. Our home for now is in Hudson Wisconsin, Just a skip from Minnesota. The first night in our new place we took the kids to the Mall of America. I could not believe my eyes!! That place is truly amazing. Brendon found his favorite part of the mall. The Nickelodeon adventure park. He rode most of the rides that he was tall enough for. I can't even express how happy I am that he likes roller coasters! The next day the kids drove to Grandma and Grandpa's house with Anthony's Aunt Heidi  and Uncle Hank. That left Anthony and I two full days to get our stuff unpacked and set up. After we got the house set up we drove to Shawano to join our kid. As usual we all had a great time being with family. We watched movies, laughed, went sledding and, enjoyed making memories. When Christmas Day arrived the kids were thrilled to see Santa had found Grandma's house. Needless to say they got spoiled rotten by everyone.

The last night in our house. Watching the Packer Game with Alex before we left.

Brendon started Kindergarten a few days after we arrived back to the new house.  I can't believe he is now in Kindergarten. I cried the first time I watched him walk into the school all by himself. I had to stop myself from parking the car and making sure he made it to his classroom.  I can't get over the fact that my life will never be the same. River Crest Elementary is the name of his new school. He has made friends and enjoys eating school lunch. His favorite part of Kindergarten so far is being able to sled at recess. Yes, his school has a sledding hill and tubes the kids are allowed to use during recess. I will admit I am a little jealous.

Arianna and I are enjoying our time at home together. She still keeps me on my toes. She will be starting dance class next week. I am excited for her to start it again. She has really missed going to dance.

Anthony is enjoying his new position and is super happy to be back in Wisconsin. I will admit I really like it here as well. Our ward family is a big part of  that. I truly love going to church and being surrounded by kind and caring people.

  1. So happy that you guys like it there! I will admit my kids will be jealous of the sledding hill...we have tons of snow this year and they aren't even allowed to climb up hills of snow!
